You buy credit, requests draw it down at the metered rate, and at zero the API answers 402 instead of quietly billing you. Credit is not tied to a model: the same balance pays for anything on the roster. There is no plan, no minimum and no monthly fee.

Credit does not expire and is not a subscription. Payment is handled by Paddle, which is the merchant of record and shows any sales tax or VAT for your country before you confirm. Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, depending on where you are.

Auto top-up, if you want it

Off by default. Turn it on and pick two numbers: the balance that triggers a top-up and the amount to buy. When your balance falls below the trigger, we charge the card you already used and add the credit — no email round trip, no interrupted job.

Monthly ceiling: You set it, default $200. We stop at the ceiling and email you rather than charging past it.
If a charge fails: Auto top-up switches itself off after two failures and emails you.
Turning it off: One click in the console, effective immediately.

Free trial credit

The first 100 accounts get $10 of credit on sign-up. No card, no expiry games.

Who: One grant per verified email address, first 100 accounts.
Rate limit: Trial credit runs at a lower rate than purchased credit. Limits are raised on request.
Data use: Prompts and completions sent on trial credit may be retained and used to improve our models. Paid credit is never used for training or evaluation unless you choose it — see the discount below. The full posture.
