Promotional offer terms
Promotional credit only. No cash value, not refundable, not transferable, one per account, and we can change or withdraw any offer at any time. Credit you buy is unaffected and does not expire.
These terms cover promotional credit only. Credit you buy is governed by the terms of service and the billing and refunds pages, and it does not expire.
The free starting credit
New accounts receive $5 of promotional credit at first sign-in, once per account and per person. It is usable on any live model at the published rates and expires 30 days after it is granted; whatever is unspent at expiry is removed from the balance. The offer is open to new accounts until 15 October 2026, and we can close it earlier; credit already granted keeps its own 30-day term.
The first-purchase double
After an account has made its first API call, its first credit purchase of $5 or more adds another $5 of promotional credit. The bonus is granted when the payment settles, applies once per account, and is available for 14 days from the moment it is offered. If the qualifying purchase is later refunded or charged back, the bonus (or its unspent remainder) is removed with it.
Emailed one-time offers
Some offers arrive by mail with a claim link. Each such offer states its own amounts and its own window in the message that carries it. Claim links are personal and single-use, the window runs from the moment the link is opened, and each offer applies once per account. An offer that is not claimed inside its window lapses; purchases made without claiming are billed at the published rates.
All promotional credit
- No cash value; it cannot be refunded, transferred, sold, or paid out.
- It is spent against metered usage at the published per-token rates, the same as purchased credit.
- One offer of each kind per account and per person. Accounts created to farm offers, and accounts suspended for abuse, forfeit their promotional credit.
- We can change, limit, or withdraw any offer at any time. Credit already granted keeps the expiry it was granted with.
- Purchased credit is never affected by any of the above and does not expire.
